About Us
|
|
Slated to open in the first week of June 2013, the brand's first overseas outlet with a total floor space of 6,588 square-feet and a 196-seater capacity is located in Forum 9, a new business building and shopping mall situated in the heart of Medan's central business district.
The raw lofty and extensive indoor setup equipped with 2 private rooms (that can be transformed into one larger enclave) outlined by fine wooden panels, includes an eighteen-meter long island bar characterized with District 10's unique red wall brick and timber made famous by its flagship outlet in UE Square, Singapore.
Keeping to its urban chic, the modern European restaurant and bar is marked by ergonomically designed matte black Thonet chairs and dining tables, matched with high bar tops and low casual rounds in its 4,320 square-foot alfresco area facing the business district's surprisingly-natural lush greenery.
An Indo-Euro Food Fare
To appeal to the relatively modern city folks of Medan who still adore its local flavours, District 10's menu is a true Indo-Euro culinary affair where diners can savour the western likes of Rigatoni (with Wagyu meatballs and fresh tomato basil sauce), prime steaks, Ruben sandwich and the Indonesian signatures such as Tempe Goreng, State Lily (grilled spicy minced seafood on lemon grass stick), Gado Gado and Nasi Kuning Kumplit (Coconut, turmeric rice with condiments), or the equally-delicious eclectic creation, Pizza Wagyu beef cheek redang - one of District 10's tried and tested winning recipes!
An International Offer at its Bar
Staying true to District 10's casual dining and partying atmosphere, its bar holds more than 80 popular international brands of vodka, gin, rum tequila, bourbon, brandy, champagne and wines (new and old world). From the young Gordon's to the classic Chivas Regal 18 YO Super Premium, the bar vows to whet the appetite of any connoisseurs.
To complete the fun party experience, District 10 will be hiring DJs who specialize in house, lounge and chill-out music to perform and entertain the crowds from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
